I don't know whether a happy mother's day text would make my mom feel happy and appreciated, or would sound sarcastic and make her feel guilty because she's not here. I'll send it anyway...and I'm hoping it'll sound sarcastic.

I just finished the hardest final out of my finals and so now I'm relaxing. Butttt i'm kinda bored because everyone here at home is sleeping and so is Dukeeee. So I decided to make some fun and took a picture 'cause he didn't want me to. I hope he doesn't get mad. :)

I was also getting bored of my Xanga look and I wanted a flower of some sort in the background. I reeeally like cherry blossoms 'cause they're pretty, remind me of Japan, and remind myself that I'm part Jap. But I didn't choose a cherry blossom because so many girls have it on their bodies! Then I remembered these flowers called Begonias. They're super cute and I love them not only because they're pretty, but because they remind me of the relationship I had with my mom as a kid. We would go to OSH and buy plants & she was nice enough one day to let me pick out a flower of my own and take care of it. Yapp! I picked pink begonias.

They somehow drew a begonia blossom link of some sort and I thought it was brilliant because it focuses on the pedals or blossoms of the begonia and also looks like a cherry blossom of some sort. and both of them together are incredibly pretty.
